Dr. Jin-Soo Kim delivered a seminar in Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research in Bergen, Norway (https://bjerknes.uib.no/node/3308) and discussed for future collaborations related to IMPOSE project (https://www.norceresearch.no/en/projects/emit-now-mitigate-later-implications-of-temperature-overshoots-for-the-earth-system-impose) with Dr. Jörg Schwinger, Dr. Hanna Lee, Dr. Norman Steinert, Dr. Matvey Devolskiy and So-Won Park.





New research is published, Kim et al. 2022 Communications Earth & Environment, which is one of new Nature-branded journal.

Anomalous warming in the Arctic region of the Barents-Kara Sea is associated with cold damage and reduced springtime vegetation activity in East Asian forests, according to a correlation analysis of Arctic warming and leaf area anomalies in East Asia.

During Jin-Soo's visit to South Korea, we had a in-person meeting with Dr. Dasom Lee (right) and Dr. Hyo-Jeong Kim (left) who are postdoc candidates of our lab. We hope meeting again in Hong Kong soon!
